Nomad which is short for North of Madison Square Park is a somewhat new neighborhood, getting its name since the neighborhood.
Nomad isn’t a big neighborhood in terms of geography but it more than makes up for it in that quintessential New York City energy. The anchor feature of the neighborhood is how it earned its name, Madison Square Park. Pretty much right smack dab in the middle of Manhattan, Madison Square Park has it all. Nomad is also a neighborhood that has seen a lot of new condo developments, some of the anchor buildings include 10 Madison Square West, 225 Fifth Avenue and new condo towers being built on Fifth and Madison Avenues.
